To Your Specifications

Every instrument needs a mount. TechLine makes every mount.

TechLine manufactures instrument stands in every standard configuration used in process plant instrument installations — pipe mount, floor mount, wall mount, beam mount, grating mount, U-bolt mount, and cable mount — in standard heights and configurations from inventory, and in custom configurations to customer specifications.

Standard stock items ship within 24 hours. This matters on process plant projects where instrument installations happen on compressed schedules and a missing stand can delay a loop check. TechLine maintains large inventories of the most common configurations specifically to support project schedule requirements.

For non-standard applications — unusual heights, custom horn configurations, special materials — TechLine's fabrication team produces custom instrument stands to customer drawings or stated specifications. The same welding and quality capabilities that support ASME pressure vessel fabrication apply to custom instrument stand production.

Standard configurations for every mounting scenario.

Pipe Mount Stands

The most common configuration in process plant instrumentation. Mounts to 2" process pipe using U-bolt or pipe clamp. Positions the instrument at the correct elevation and orientation relative to the process connection. Single and double horn configurations for one or two instruments on the same stand.

Floor Mount Stands

Bolts to concrete grade or structural steel deck. For instruments that are not pipe-mounted and need a freestanding support. Available in single, double, triple, and quad horn configurations for consolidating multiple instruments on one floor-mounted structure.

Channel Floor Stands

Floor-mounted stands using channel construction rather than pipe. Provides a wider base footprint and greater lateral stability for applications where multiple heavy instruments need a robust ground-level mount.

Wall Mount Stands

Attaches to structural steel, vessel walls, or concrete. For instruments in areas where floor mounting is impractical or where proximity to the process connection requires a wall-attached position.

Beam Mount Stands

Clamps directly to structural steel beams. For overhead or elevated instrument locations where the stand is attached to overhead structure rather than floor or pipe.

Grating Mount Stands

Attach through open bar grating decks using grating fasteners. Common in refinery and chemical plant elevated deck installations where the instrument stand must penetrate the grating without a concrete foundation.

U-Bolt Mount Stands

For mounting to pipe rack structure or process piping of various diameters. The U-bolt configuration accommodates a range of pipe diameters at the mounting point.

Cable Mount Stands

Mount directly to cable tray structure. For instruments that are located adjacent to cable tray runs and can be supported from the tray support system rather than a separate stand foundation.

Capillary Spool and Mounting Flag

For remote seal transmitters where the capillary tube requires a controlled routing path from the diaphragm seal at the process connection to the transmitter body. The capillary spool organizes the capillary tube and prevents damage from kinking or excessive bending.

Tech-Mount Modular

TechLine's modular stand system for custom configurations that don't fit standard options. Modular components allow custom heights, custom horn arrangements, and non-standard mounting configurations without full custom fabrication lead time.

Match stand material to condensate chamber material where instruments are connected to condensate chambers. Mixing galvanized and stainless at connection points creates galvanic corrosion risk in corrosive environments.
